Tuesdays from 2-6 pm at the Charles Clark Medical Centre

This clinic offers the following walk-in services to all teens and young adults up to the age of 27:

  • Birth control
  • STI testing
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Emergency contraception
  • Education on birth control,
  • STIs, healthy relationships,
  • Drug awareness

Mental health counseling sessions are also offered at this clinic, with a booked appointment. These sessions are designed to deal with anxiety, depression, or reduction of stressful circumstances.

Do I need an appointment?

We offer drop-in services, which means you can walk in without an appointment Tuesdays from 2-6. The mental health counselling requires an appointment, which you can make by calling 403-652-1654. The counselling appointments are offered on Tuesdays from 12:30-2:00.

Will my parents be told?

Our services are confidential, meaning that legally we cannot tell anyone (including parents/legal guardians) if, why, or when you went there.

What can you get at our clinic?

  • Free birth control
  • Free condoms
  • Emergency contraception (morning after pill, Plan B)
  • Pregnancy tests
  • STI testing
  • Information on healthy relationships, sexually transmitted infections, drug awareness and pregnancy
  • Information about all birth control options
  • Counselling to deal with anxiety, depression or reduction of stressful circumstances

Do I have to go by myself?

You can bring a friend, a partner, a parent  or you can come on your own; whatever you are comfortable with.

Is there a cost?

No, medical services are free.

Is there an age limit?

We offer our services to teens and young adults up to the age of 27.

Do I need a health card?

No, you can see a health care provider at Teen Clinic even if you don’t have a health card. You may be asked if you have a health card or know your number. Your health information will still be kept confidential even if you provide your health card/number.
